OCXO



An OCXO is an Oven Controlled Crystal Oscillator. A temperature controlled chamber, called a crystal oven, is used to prevent variations in the crystal oscillators output frequency due to changes in ambient temperature. An OCXO will provide the best frequency stability possible in a crystal-based oscillator and is used in many military and space applications.
